Guitar:
  • very beautiful art-deco design (designed by Epi
        Stathopoulo himself)

  • white body with etched gold on gold metal top

  • inlaid white Pyralin fretmarkers

  • multi-colored dot fretboard inlays

  • metal Electar nameplate on headstock

  • chrome metal buttons on open-back tuners

  • single bridge / tailpiece

  • volume & tone controls on opposite sides of
        strings

  • "Trubalance" adjustable-pole pickup

  • introduced in 1936; discontinued in 1939


    Amp:
  • cloth-covered wooden "suitcase" cabinet (made
        by a suitcase manufacturer)

  • removable "Detacho" front & rear covers

  • no controls (other than on/off switch)

  • tone & volume controlled from the guitar

  • 2 instrument inputs

  • 15 watts of power

  • one 12" field coil speaker

  • introduced in 1936; discontinued in 1939
