        on back & fretboard

  • f-holes uniquely located near the waist

  • carved spruce top; curly maple back & sides;
        & cedar neck

  • ebony fretboard with pearl parallelogram and
        dot inlays

  • black bakelite veneer on headstock with
        diagonal engraved National logo & 3 vertical
        stripes

  • bakelite pickguard with stenciled musical
        notes(not original)

  • black bakelite control knobs on lower treble bout

  • adjustable rosewood bridge

  • nickel trapeze tailpiece
