1950's National/Supro
15-1/4" Archtop Electric

  • started life as a Supro electric archtop built by
        National

  • supurb National "BelAire" neck was substituted
        for the mediocre Supro neck

  • 2 top-of-the-line gold National single coil
        pickups with black mounting bezels

  • the result is an extraordinary deco jump blues
        guitar

  • maple top, back & sides

  • 24-3/4" maple neck

  • ebony fretboard with very fancy mother- of-pearl
        trapezoid, and abalone diamond, inlay

  • black laminate veneered headstock with gold
        "National script" logo on the diagonal

  • black single-ply binding on top & back

  • creme single-ply binding on fretboard &
        headstock

  • black deco pickguard with white stenciling

  • 2 black stove-top bakelite control knobs on
        lower treble bout

  • 1 black stove-top bakelite control knob on upper
        bass bout

  • adjustable rosewood bridge

  • fancy gold stairstep tailpiece

  • gold closed Grover tuners
